"It's the white thing to do."
WTFlocka?! Did President Obama have a case of the Freudian slip when he went off-script during his 2011 State Of The Union (SOTU) address when he said, “It’s the white thing to do.”?
It probably just sounded like ‘white’ but it we know it’s ‘right’ because ‘white is right‘. Who knows…but one thing we do know is that $60 billion in unwarranted bank subsidies are now going to be forwarded to funding higher learning in community colleges and to Pell Grants.
Obama’s address was watched by 43 million people. SOTU sounded good but let’s see the execution of how unemployment, college debt, and foreclosures are solved. If the middle class is barely surviving what is to come of our economy? The war overseas wages on and foreign policy was barely mentioned.
Here’s the transcripts from the possible Freudian slip:
“To compete, higher education must be within reach of every American. That’s why we’ve ended the unwarranted taxpayer subsidies that went to banks, and used the savings to make college affordable for millions of students. And this year, I ask Congress to go further, and make permanent our tuition tax credit – worth $10,000 for four years of college. [off-script as he points to his audience] Because it’s the right thing to do.”
