#WTFlocka?! N.E.R.D. front-man, Pharrell Williams, is joining the liquor endorsement game amongst fellow rappers: Diddy, Rakim, Dr. Dre, Ludacris, Lil Jon, to name a few. But what’s up with the bottle design and color?
Mimi Valdés invited me to Like the Qream Facebook page –when I hit it – I honestly thought it was a Gwen Stefani-inspired bottle of lotion, until I read, “by Pharrell Williams.” I had to learn more.
So prey-tell Pharrell about Qream:
“Qream was created for contemporary women who work hard and want to relax with friends at the end of the day … I want them to reward themselves ‘deliciously.’ Women make up half the population, and Qream is about celebrating that power.”
The liqueur boasts of having less calories than a glass of red wine and is available in peach and strawberry flavors. Diageo also represents other popular names in the liquor industry like, Johnnie Walker, Crown Royal, Ketel One, Captain Morgan, Jose Cuervo, Tanqueray and Guinness.
“We expect Pharrell Williams’ unique perspective, coupled with his alliance with Diageo, will help Qream set a new standard as the beverage women choose to honor themselves and their accomplishments,” Anna MacDonald, director of liqueurs marketing at Diageo said.
