On Tuesday morning, Diddy thought it would be clever to make his album release ads a part of the NY MTA Subway with signs that would make any subway rider do a double take.
The Prince St. and Spring St. subway stations had signs that were convincingly altered to read “Last Train to Paris 12.14.10,” his latest release.
MTA confirmed that the advertisements are not official, Puh-leeeez! You know Diddy was a part of this campaign. Who else got that kind of dough to shell out? A Prince St. station worker removed the magnetic signs by 9a.m. yesterday.
The MTA worker responded,
“It’s stupid. The signs confuse people. We have a lot of tourists. They don’t know. This is just confusing people.”
